Returning to the idyllic Adirondack Mountains, newlyweds Kat and Dillon Walker learn of an escalating crisis in the dense forests surrounding their Great Lake Sacandaga home. Hikers are being hunted by an unknown assaliant, and a vicious attack in the nearby village is tied to unsolved area disappearances. For Dillon, whispers of monsters lurking in the nearby woods reveal a long-buried secret, jeopardizing the new life he and Kat have begun to build.
